Pages built by human web designers, to match the look and feel of your website or organizational aesthetic, with unlimited revisions
We’ll build your page to your specifications and you can request page changes at any time, with no additional cost. Our web developers personally build each new page and make each page change with care and precision. When you need a page change or a new page, you’ll submit a request through our support portal, where you can get status updates and interact with the developers and reps involved with the project. Our team works fast: new pages are built in 3-7 business days and page changes are completed within 1-3 business days.

Donor-friendly, one-page donation process
We don’t believe your donors should have to go through a cumbersome process when they want to give – our payment process is confined to a single, user-friendly page that’s completely branded to your organization and seamlessly integrated with your website.

Customizable success and failure messages
Once your donor makes a payment, they’ll be shown a message on the payment page which is completely customizable. We have standard text for successful or unsuccessful payments, but you’re also welcome to adjust the text and graphical content to suit the needs of your organization.

Customizable social sharing features
In the message that displays after your donor has made a successful payment, we have social sharers that can connect your organization to your donors’ extended network. You’ll use the DonationPay portal to customize the text for our social sharers and donors can send out pre-populated messages to their friends that let them know about their recent contribution and why they choose to support your organization.

Automated receipts branded to your organization and sent from an email address of your choice
We think your donors should hear from you, not your service provider, so our clients can set the address that automatically sends out donor receipts to an email address within your organization. We offer this feature to strengthen your relationship with your supporters and to keep our service ‘invisible’ to your donors.

Honorarium donations and suggested amounts / donor tiers / membership levels
We offer a variety of options for different gift types- we can set up membership tiers, suggested amounts and other functionalities that make it easier for your donors to give to your organization. If you have an on-the-ground fundraising plan that needs an online presence, we can set something up that will accurately reflect your campaign structure online and that makes supporting your organization easy for your donors. We also offer options for honorarium and gift donations and memberships, allowing donors to easily make contributions in honor of a friend or family member.


PCI compliant and secure
We, and our banking partner, maintain Tier 1 PCI-compliance, in accordance with the highest-level industry regulations. Your organization’s banking information, and your donor’s, is safe with us. Your payment pages are protected by industry-leading extended-validation SSL certificates, and hosted in limited-access data centers.

Advanced security and fraud protection
We offer comprehensive fraud protection for your organization and your donors. We have a number of unique security features, including an IP blocker that detects and blocks potentially fraudulent payments through our payment pages and multi-level security checks and features for payment portal security.

Donor information security

Payment Processing

Free sign-up and no hidden fees
We don’t charge for account set up (or cancellation) and we don’t have hidden fees. We’ve done our best to flatten out the complicated pricing typically associated with individual merchant accounts and give you better control and easier access to your funds. Our pricing is exactly as stated on our website and you’ll never see charges you don’t expect.

Accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or ACH/e-check
Your organization can process payments using all major cards, as well as direct banking transfer/ACH payments. Both American Express and ACH are optional and can be selected during the application process.

Full-featured merchant accounts from IATS Payments
We give each of our clients a full-service merchant account from IATS Payments. Your merchant account is what enables you to collect credit card and ACH payments and, in addition to the DonationPay team, you’ll have a relationship with the knowledgeable, friendly reps at IATS payments, who will take you through our brief application process and be available to offer phone and email support for your merchant account, on an ongoing basis.

Daily funds distribution
You’ll get your donated funds two days after the payment is made, via direct banking transfer. During the application process, you’ll provide bank account and routing information, which we’ll use to automatically transfer accrued funds every business day.

Automated recurring payments
We offer automated recurring payments for your donors, through a simple checkbox on your payment page. You can offer recurring options that run monthly, quarterly, yearly or on a customized schedule, all set up easily by the donor during the payment process. Our Portal also builds giving profiles for each of your donors, making it easy to stay engaged with your sustaining supporters and track their contributions over time.

Accept donations from nearly anywhere in the world
You can easily accept international payments on all our payment pages, from almost anywhere in the world.

Donor Management

The DonationPay Portal
Our portal lets you track your donors’ donation history, manage payments, manually set up payments or refunds and much more. Collect and organize donor information collected on your payment pages and print self-customized reports. Managing data
Our portal stores donor information, and we also offer integrations with leading CRM software (including SalesForce and CiviCRM). Our Portal exports customized reports in CSV format, so if we don’t have an integration for your database provider of choice, it’s still simple to import donor records and information collected by our system.

Real-time donation notification sent to your staff
You choose who you’d like to receive real-time donation notifications whenever a contribution is made. We’re happy to notify different members of your staff who are managing funds coming in through individual pages and you can add as many staff members as you’d like to receive notifications, changeable at any time. We make it easy for your team to stay engaged with your supporters.

Peer to Peer
